To ensure a smooth and secure rental process, we require an advance payment at the time of booking your GoPro rental. This advance payment serves as a reservation guarantee and covers the following:

Rental Fee:

The full rental fee for your selected GoPro model and rental duration must be paid in advance.

This fee is non-refundable unless you cancel your reservation at least 7 days prior to your booking start date.

Security Deposit:

In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit is required to cover potential damages, loss, or late return of the equipment.

The security deposit amount varies based on the GoPro model you rent and will be clearly stated during the booking process.

The deposit can be paid in cash or by providing a valid credit card authorization.

If there are no damages, loss, or late return issues, your security deposit will be fully refunded at the end of your rental period.

Passport Verification:

As an alternative to a cash or credit card security deposit, you may provide a valid passport during the booking process.

We will securely store your passport information as a form of identification and rental guarantee.

Your passport will be returned to you when you return the GoPro equipment at the end of your rental period.

Advance Payment Process:

During the online booking process, you will be prompted to pay the full rental fee and security deposit (if applicable).

If you choose to provide a passport as a security guarantee, you will be asked to present it when we hand-deliver your GoPro rental in Val Thorens.

Once your advance payment and/or passport verification is complete, your GoPro rental reservation will be confirmed.

If any damages, loss, or late return issues arise during your rental period, the corresponding costs will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your provided credit card.

6. Liability: PeakFootage is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur while using the rented GoPro equipment. The renter assumes full responsibility for their safety and the safety of others while using the gear.
7. Cancellations: Rental cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the booking start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking start date may be subject to a cancellation fee.
